"I bought this because the small die cutting machine I was using no longer has cutting folders available. I really love the design and colour. The little platform is amazing and its easy to use but wow I have never had such amazing die cuts from a small machine. The plates are sturdy and will last a good time. Disappointed

"I have always had spellbinders machines and have been happy with them. I purchased the lilac shimmer because it was a smaller machine. No matter what I do or how I load the plates it will not cut.i have put in the smallest of dies and had them in on their own but it makes no difference. I am so disappointed that customer service made no offer to exchange this machine and only said thank you for bringing this to our attention and told me the machine needs pressure and to hold it down and I will get a lifetime of cutting. What a joke I haven’t had five minutes of use.Will never buy from spellbinders again."

Don’t Waste Your Money

"It arrived Friday, worked perfectly on Saturday, the platform started skewing to one side on the Sunday and now won’t work at all. Spellbinders say I am using it incorrectly, apparently I need to keep 1 hand on top of it to apply pressure, 1 hand on the plate as it feeds through and use my third hand to wind the handle!!! Looks like I will have a fight on my hands to get a refund."

"I haven’t tried the machine. I have had to wait until the middle of July, for my order and the fact that it was sold on the prentice of a June despatch date , has taken the enthusiasm out of finally receiving the Scout. The one star is for the very bad Spellbinders customer service. I will not be buying anything else from this company."
